I tried this shampoo complementary for my feedback. I was a little skeptical, trying this shampoo. With my hair I have oily roots, and dry frizzy ends. First thing about this shampoo you should know is that you don’t need a whole lot of shampoo to get your hair clean. My hair is fairly thick and down to my waist and I used very little of the product and my hair was clean and soft. It feels a little thick in your hand but works through your hair very easily. My hair feels so soft and clean after using it one time.

What I loved

Actually delivers on repair claims: My hair has been heat-damaged and brittle from coloring, and after about 2 weeks of using this, the breakage around my ends noticeably decreased. The Terabond™ + hydrolyzed oat protein combo isn’t just buzzwords — my hair feels stronger without being stiff. Moisture without the weight: Argan oil can sometimes make fine hair greasy, but this formula locks in moisture and adds shine without flattening my roots. My curls look softer and more defined. Clean formula wins: Bio-based, made in USA, sustainably sourced, cruelty-free. If you care about what goes down your drain and on your scalp, this checks the boxes. Scent + lather: Light, clean scent that isn’t perfumey. Lathers well even though it feels gentle, so a little goes a long way.

What to know

For damaged hair specifically: If your hair is already healthy and you just want a daily shampoo, this might be too repairing. It’s really targeted for weak/brittle strands. Pair it with conditioner: The shampoo alone cleanses great, but you’ll get the full softness/shine effect using the matching Kitsch conditioner.

Bottom line: If your hair is crying for help after bleach, heat, or breakage, this one’s worth it. It helped reconnect and soften my strands without the silicones or heavy buildup. Will repurchase.
