I have curly hair (3a or 3b) and the only detangling brush I’ve had for the shower is one of those wide tooth straight combs, which is fine for slowly getting knots undone, but not so great for smoothing or curl definitions (and certainly doesn’t feels great running the hard plastic teeth through my hair, against my scalp). So I would use my Denman brush after the shower to detangle any remaining hair & get my curls clumps looking nice. But since the brush was not meant to be used in the shower, I didn’t have something good, until I got Kitsch’s detangling brush. At first, I thought it would be like the handheld scalp brush that’s short and plastic, where the handle has to be screwed on (which lasts for a short bit before breaking). But this is SO MUCH BETTER. So well made, love the flexibility of each u-shaped row of bristles and feels fantastic on my scalp. I then tried it in the shower, and WOW! It was insanely easy & gentle for me to detangle my curls, and I could already see it smoothing any frizz + clumping my curls so nice. I used it after the shower, just putting a small amount of the air dry cream then let my hair air dry, and my curls looks so gorgeous when it dried! And mind you, I’m a curly hair girl that doesn’t not have the money, time or energy to be like those TikTok girls who use multiple products and blow dry their hair with a diffuser to achieve gorgeous curls. I only use one hair product after my shower, and thought they looked good most days, but now…

Omg! This brush is SOO.... what's the word? AMAZING? INCREDIBLE? WELL-MADE? BEAUTIFUL? FUN? MAGICAL? It is ALL of those things, and more! I didn't know that I could love a brush so much, haha! I actually have never been one to even brush my hair, but I CAN'T STOP brushing my hair with the Detangling Flexi Brush!! It massages my scalp and contours to every angle on my head, it feels SO GOOD! Usually, with other brushes, you have to start at the ends and work your way up to get any tangles out, right? Well, I STARTED AT THE ROOTS with this brush, and I don't know HOW it did it, but it got through all of my bedhead tangles on the FIRST RUN THROUGH😱 I went back for a second run through, and guess what!!? NOT ONE TANGLE! That is why I'm describing it as "magic with a handle," haha! It also FEELS like magic on my scalp! And let me tell you.. this BLUE HAZE color is so pretty!

I’ve used similar brushes in the past, but this one is much more comfortable to use and actually works. I love the neutral color line and the price point is excellent. Overall, a great product.
