Coconut Oil Conditioner Bar for Dry Damaged Hair

As a licensed stylist, I’ve tried it all. And I mean. ALL of it. These shampoo bars cleanse incredibly. The conditioner I was skeptical. Thinking how am I going to lather my hair with a bar?? My hair is healthy, shiny, NOT oily after 2 days, voluminous, and overall incredibly beautiful! KITSCH has done something incredible, and I’m here to stay for it!

Absolutely in love with this. I wrote a long review on the shampoo bar because I was so going it’s praises on the first use. There was so much lather that I had it piled up just to soak it in. How could I not follow with a rave review on the conditioner bar as well ? It is so smooth and rich with a fresh clean scent. My hair wasn’t tangled when I finished up, which is awesome because I have very fine hair that does tangle easy. I let my hair air dry and it was so full of bounce and freshness. This is a must have to keep on hand!!! Go grab a combo set and enjoy !!!

I absolutely adore this conditioner! Its ultra-moisturizing formula makes detangling a breeze, and the way it defines my daughter's curls is simply stunning. What's even better is that despite my daughter's sensitive skin, she hasn't experienced any reactions to these products. It's a win-win for us – nourished hair and happy, healthy skin!

This conditioner is very creamy and “paints” on well. It doesn’t detangle as well as some of the others, but it did not leave my hair weighed down. My curls felt healthy and were shiny. The smell was wonderful too. This is a good conditioner to alternate with.

First of all I have to point out the amazing smell of this conditioner that filled my entire bathroom the second I opened it! It’s performance is pretty great, I have an oily scalp and bleached hair (highlights) so I use all of my conditioners be applying them from roots to ends religiously - since my hair tends to get kind of rough after bleaching it and especially after the summer. I started using this conditioner in the beginning of September, so right after the summer, tons of sun exposure and swimming at the beach ( I live in Greece).

I swear I hadn’t felt my hair this soft since high school before I started bleaching it and in my surprise my scalp didn’t get great any faster than it used to.

So performance wise AMAZING- the only thing that I had an issue with was that I ran out of it in almost one month (maybe one and a half) BUT this might have been the result of me not storing it correctly so it sort of “melted” away pretty easily.

P.S. another thing that I noticed was that my hair started getting back to its natural form ( mostly straight) without using any heat (except from very light blow drying- without a brush). I was very impressed by that since it starred getting wavy (in an untamed way) after 5 years of getting highlights. The photo I uploads is right after washing and lightly blow drying it!

So I’ve tried everything. Lupus really doesn’t want me to have a healthy scalp haha. But this has helped so much! The last two months using these products have been a game changer :) I started with scabs and hair loss. Now it’s think enough to kind of work with and I’m looking forward to future results.

This is me on a week-long trip to Croatia last year with three city stops that I did a carry-on only for, knowing I had a tight layover in Amsterdam and would be riding two ferries. But, um, my hair had to look good for wonderful sunset photo ops such as this (the bar is Buza Bar in Dubrovnik, go there!). So I packed a shampoo bar by another brand that I felt pretty meh about and this wonderful new go-to bar. Here, I used hotel shampoo (it was pretty fancy, NGL), this shampoo bar, and my roommate's Moroccan Oil curl cream. The bar is basically foolproof. You rub it directly on your wet hair after rinsing out your shampoo. I normally wash my naturally curly hair once or twice a week but on this trip was taking daily dips in the sea, so I washed my hair 5x over a week. Because of this, I let the conditioner sit for a few minutes, though you probably don't need to do that if you're washing your hair your usual amount on your trip. Each bar is supposed to last 200 washes and it might do a little less for me, but I know this'll be good for many future trips! I've used it on about five trips now and it doesn't look any smaller than it did when I used it the first time.
